Why oh Why?

How is it that time goes so quickly? I cannot believe that it is the last week in February!!! Crazy how this month has flown. It feels as if Christmas was just a few weeks ago.

The Mills family has arrived! Our home is very busy with lots of kids and fun! We are loving it and Madisen totally loves having other kids around. Scoobie is still undecided about the whole thing. We are so grateful that they made it here safely.

The passing of the Prophet

I just finished viewing the services for the Prophet - Gordon B. Hinckley. My heart is full as I have reflected on his life and how he impacted me as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I loved this man and the wisdom and love he radiated wherever he went. I always wanted to improve myself after hearing his teachings. He taught me that it was ok to laugh and have a sense of humor. He taught that life is to be lived, not just endured. I know that he is reunited with his wife which he loved and missed dearly. I will miss him, but I also know that his time was complete here on earth. I am so grateful for his teachings of the importance of temples and the joy and blessings that can be found within those walls. Thank you President Hinckley for everything.

Make a scrapbook - it's easy!

I have been really sick these past few days. I even called in sick to work and I NEVER do that! Anyway - Jared and I have worked on the basement. We put primer on the walls and the tile guy came and did the tile. He should be back tomorrow to finish the grout. I am really excited to have this finished. It will be nice to move the TV downstairs. :0) Just paint, baseboards and carpet and we will be ready to decorate! I cannot believe how much different the walls and ceiling look already with just primer.

School AGAIN!!!

I started back to school last week. Only two more semesters to go!!! I am really having a hard time getting back into the strict routine of studying almost every night. ARGH!!! Deep breath....only two more semesters to go! I can hardly wait to be finished. :0) We are trying to find a great deal on carpet. Anyone know anything about this? We have NEVER purchased carpet before and do not want to be taken for a ride. If you know what I mean.

January already?

January is already here and I can hardly stand it!

We finally bit the bullet and used some money Jared's parents gave us for Christmas to have someone come and mud our basement. Jared worked really hard to hang all of the sheetrock. Thanks to some of our family (Jeff) that helped us with that! It looks fantastic! I can hardly wait for it to be finished!!! Now on to primer and paint. :) Anyone want to help? :0)
