Madisen's decision

Madisen turned 8 years old in May. Earlier this year - back in January -she told us that she did not want to be baptized. We told her that it was fine and that we would support her in whatever she decided to do. Now- we really were not worried. We knew that it could take Madisen 5 weeks, 5 months or even 5 years to decide to be baptized - still - we wanted it to be her decision. She decided right after her birthday that she wanted to be baptized. We were happy - #1 because it was her decision and not ours. Here are pictures from the Sunday she had her bishop's interview. She was nervous, but she did a great job!

My need to "show off" - just a little

So Madisen's baptism is on date for July 5th. Jared and I are very proud of her and her decision to be baptized. We really wanted this to be her decision, not ours.

So I worked this weekend on her invitations. Tomorrow I will go and pick up the pictures that I ordered. I am really excited. I "borrowed" the invitation fold from a baby announcement my sister in law Brooke put together about a year ago for her cute baby.
